Link International has teamed up with TROUPE to deliver workshops in schools exploring key development issues and how Link works to address these.
TROUPE members have a breadth of educational and workshop-leading experience including work for Spitalfields Festival, Wigmore Hall, ENO, Aurora Orchestra, LSO Discovery, Centre for Young Musicians and Fairbeats! music.
In these workshops, participants (age 7-18) will work alongside a team of four practitioners to explore and respond to the theme through word-writing, song-writing, singing and physical theatre.
Age: These workshops are tailor-made to fit in with a variety of year groups from KS2 up to, and including, KS5.
Group size: To get the most of out of these workshops, we recommend TROUPE works with one class (max. 30 students) for the duration of the half-day workshop. Part of the session will be spent in smaller groups.
Curriculum topics covered: Music, drama, literacy, geography, science, nutrition, PSHE
Cost: £550 per half-day workshop (including a £50 donation to LINK International)
Requirements: use of school hall, access to piano/keyboard, three other smaller spaces to work in with smaller groups.
